NOT A LIFESAVING DEVICE in Berlin

I’m very happy to share that work from my series NOT A LIFESAVING DEVICE will be shown in the group exhibition Out of Place at Serpen Gallery in Berlin.

The exhibition brings together three international artists working across different media and exploring different ideas of reality. I created my photographs during my residency in the Arctic Circle. Although some of the images can appear artificial or constructed, they are entirely real and unmanipulated.

Alongside my work, Out of Place features Gildas Coudrais, whose work often reverses that relationship between the real and the artificial, and Ksenia Hnylytska, whose Open Air series creates an almost psychedelic vision of nature and lost reality.

If you are in Berlin, I hope you’ll have a chance to see the exhibition and join the opening:

After the Berlinale

HALEEMA had a great premiere at the Berlinale. In the sold out theater of
the Martin-Gropius-Bau over 200 guests watched the film followed by a Q&A. I
uploaded some of my festival impressions on the film’s Facebook page. Check them out. 🙂
