GRAMPS in Mutant City

GRAMPS stays busy during the Halloween season and will screen on October 19th in Fillmore, California, as part of the Happy Fright Film Festival by Mutant City Horror.

Happy Fright is more than just a film showcase; it’s a live event where horror fans come together to experience creativity through live entertainment, including stand-up comedy, a live band, a horror marketplace, and vendors with a classic arcade pop-up.

GRAMPS back in Atlanta

Another great festival for GRAMPS this week. Our Zomedy will screen at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival on Sunday, Octber 19 at 4:30pm in the program Among the Infected Shorts #17!

The event will take place at the Limelight Theater in the Pencil Factory.

The Atlanta HorrorFest is a three-day celebration of all things horror, from jump scares and slow burns to midnight madness and twisted tales. The festival showcases the creepiest, wildest, and most entertaining horror films from around the world, spanning supernatural stories, psychological thrillers, slashers, horror comedies, and everything deliciously bizarre.

GRAMPS travels to Austrian’s Fright Night

GRAMPS is on the move and will scare the audience in Austria on October 23 during Fright Nights – the ultimate festival of fear. The festival is held at the Hollywood Megaplex PlusCity in Linz, Pasching. Gramps screens at 3 pm in Saal 11 in the “Unleash the Underground Thursday” program. Let me know if you plan to attend.

Fright Nights is consistently one of the most popular horror film festivals in Europe, and since 2006, it has awarded the coveted Silver Hand award in several categories.

So if you are in Austria, come and see our short scare on the big screen.

Watch GRAMPS online on Shockfest

GRAMPS is currently screening online as part of Shockfest. Viewers can watch their favorite film to send them to the live screening in Vegas in November. So vote, vote, vote! 🙂

Shockfest Adventure is a live event series merging cinema, immersive and interactive experiences, and an educational festival/conference. With a 17-year track record, Shockfest has evolved into a recognizable and expanding brand in the independent entertainment sector.

GRAMPS wins award at Hollywood Horror Fest

Gramps wins the SOHO Cinema Club Award for Best Comedy at the Hollywood Horror Fest.

GLENDALE PARADISE 2nd Place at Mountain Shadow

So grateful that GLENDALE PARADISE won 2nd place at the Mountain Shadow Short Film Competition!
After two back-to-back screenings, the audience voted our film second place out of ten amazing entries. A huge thank you to the festival for screening our film and to everyone for the warm feedback during the Q&A.

 

Hollywood Horrorfest screens GRAMPS

On Sunday, September 21, GARMPS will screen at the Hollywood Horrorfest at the Eastwood Performing Arts Center. Our little shocker will be the opener for the feature film “Lead Belly” in program six, starting at 12.30 pm. Get your tickets here.

Home to the prestigious Vincent Price Award, the festival has celebrated, for over ten years, indie horror’s rising stars and the legends who paved the way.

GLENDALE PARADISE in Northern California

 I am honored that The Mountain Shadow Film Society is showing GLENDALE PARADISE for their 11th Annual Short Film Competition in Walnut Creek. This is my second year at the festival, and I could not be happier to join them again.
Their Annual Short Film Competition has become an exciting addition to their program, presented each September to Society members, their guests, and the general public. The final program includes 8-12 Finalists, with a total running time of approximately 90-100 minutes in the program.

There will be a 3:30 PM and a 7:30 PM  screening on Saturday, September 20th at the Las Lomas High School Theater, each followed by a Q&A.
I can’t wait to be there again. 🙂

GLENDALE PARADISE Hits Monaco!

We are ecstatic to stay in the Mediterranean and move from Cypress to Monaco.
GLENDALE PARADISE will screen at the Monaco International Film Festival on November 30 in Monte Carlo.The Angel Film Awards – Monaco International Film Festival is a global community celebrating peace, love, and filmmaking. The AFA is a prestigious European event held in Monaco, known for its elegance and glamor. Its mission is to inspire, educate, and honor artists who raise awareness and address social issues, creating ties between international audiences. This intimate platform connects writers, directors, and producers in Monte Carlo, fostering new opportunities. While it avoids violence, the festival still attracts notable figures from the music and film industry for VIP champagne networking events.
