The Villa Aurora in Los Angeles

I had the pleasure of making this short documentary about the Villa Aurora in Los Angeles

The magnificent house has been used as an artist residence since 1995 and it is the former home of the German-Jewish author Lion Feuchtwanger and his wife Marta.

See the film on the VATMH Youtube channel or visit my Vimeo channel for a 4k version or a shorter version in German. Enjoy!

HALEEMA best narrative film in WATERtown

I am so happy that HALEEMA won Best Narrative Film as well as the Audience Choice Award at the 2019 WATERtown Film Festival at the Plumbing Museum.

The film is still going strong and it’s a topic is, unfortunately, more relevant than ever regarding the current refugee crises and the increasing water scarcity around the globe.

Thank you so very much for screening and recognizing HALEEMA at this year’s festival.
