Check out this scene I shot last semester with CINE students. This fun scene was based on “Dudes” by David Dalton & Chad Schnackel.
Luke wakes up his best friend, Alex, to help him figure out what happened the night before but first, he needs to convince him that it is truly him.

A FRIENDLY TURN opened at LA Shorts!

A FRIENDLY TURN had a full house with over 200 film fans at the Regal Theatre at LA Live. Our comedy was in the company of six great short films accompanied by a Q&A on stage. Big Thanks to LA Shorts International Film Festival for a great screening and more festivals to come!

FOLLOW-UP just uploaded

I am running a little behind fine-tuning the final cuts of last semester’s Cine Practicums and FOLLOW-UP is the first one I was able to finish. Great job to the cast and crew – I am very proud of this one!
It is not looking good for Corey during this routine visit to the doctor. This is going to be a hard hard pill to swallow.  🙂

A FRIENDLY TURN premieres at LA Shorts!

Congrats to all cast and crew!

“MY LA” with consul Stefan Schneider

Check out the collection of five episodes I shot with Consul General Stefan Schneider and the German consulate last year where he and Kenneth Ensslin visit some of Mister Schneider’s favorite places in Los Angles that are all linked to Germany. I am grateful that he took us on this journey which was a fun and also a very moving experience.

BLUNT in Italy

I am delighted that BLUNT is included in the Ultras Shorts “Gradisca” category of the 15th Amarcort Film Festival in Rimini. The festival is dedicated to Frederico Fellini and runs from November 22 – 27 and screens films in multiple venues across the beautiful ocean town of Rimini.

Are you prepared for AFTERMATH

Here comes another short I shot with NYFA Cinematography students at Burbank Studios Stage 5. Next time no blood – I promise 🤞!

Thanks to all participants – this was a fun one.

I am so honored that ANTUMBRA finally touched down on DUST.

The film went online today and is available for free. Download their app or add their channel on Roku, fireTV etc. Please visit their channel for more information on their programming and availability.

A big THANK YOU to the cast and crew for their great work. This is a major accomplishment.

Please enjoy this fun scene I shot with yet another great group of cinematography students at the New York Film Academy.

This is truly an anniversary as it marks the 20th practicum I’ve written and directed over the past years with Cine students at the New York Film Academy. Respect for all the hard work of the students and thank you to the NYFA Cinematography department for this unique approach to practical learning and preparing our students for the real world.
